Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
DRAFT — This document is a working template and has not yet been reviewed by legal counsel. Data controller details to be finalised upon company formation. GDPR applies; supervisory authority for Norway is Datatilsynet.
1. What we collect
- Waitlist: email address, signup time, and country (derived from your connection).
- Account (when launched): name, email, subscription tier, and billing information processed by our payment provider.
- Broker connection: an API key you provide, used solely for trade execution and position reading on your account. Keys are encrypted at rest. We never receive your broker login credentials.
- Platform usage: activations, deactivations, confirmations, and settings — kept as an audit trail of decisions you have made.
- Technical: standard server logs (IP, user agent, timestamps) for security and operations.
2. What we do not collect
We do not sell personal data. We do not use advertising trackers. We do not access broker funds or withdrawal capabilities.
3. Why we process data
- To provide the service you subscribe to (contract).
- To maintain the decision audit trail that protects both you and us (legitimate interest / legal obligation).
- To contact you about the waitlist or service changes (consent / contract).
- To secure the platform against abuse (legitimate interest).
4. Where data lives
The platform runs on Cloudflare infrastructure. Waitlist and platform data are stored in Cloudflare's distributed storage. Payment data is handled by the payment provider and never stored by Algexo.
5. Retention
Waitlist entries are kept until launch contact or deletion on request. Account data is kept for the duration of the subscription plus the period required by accounting and legal obligations. Audit trails of trading confirmations are retained as required for dispute resolution.
6. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, and port your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Contact us at privacy@algexo.com. You may also complain to your supervisory authority (in Norway: Datatilsynet).
7. Changes
Material changes to this policy will be announced in the service before they take effect.
